Kevin Eccles is the Director of Expressions Group and the founder of Absolute Property Trading Ltd. With a background as a skilled plumber, Kevin’s career took an exciting turn when he served as a Physical Training Instructor in the Royal Air Force. During his time in the RAF, he honed essential leadership and management skills that would later prove invaluable in his business ventures.

Drawing on his experience as both a tradesman and a former RAF instructor, Kevin founded Expressions Group alongside Absolute Property Trading Ltd, rapidly growing both companies in a short span of time. His hands-on approach to leadership, coupled with his strong commitment to his team, has been central to their success.

Kevin leads by example, always placing people at the heart of his approach. He ensures that every team member is valued, supported, and well taken care of. His vision is to continue growing Expressions Group into a trusted name within both domestic and commercial sectors, all while maintaining a close-knit, family-oriented atmosphere in the office.

James, started out as a sole trader over a decade ago with just a van and his tools. Through his hard work, determination, and unwavering dedication, James grew his Painting business, taking on various domestic decoration projects and charity work. His team of highly skilled painters has been involved in impactful projects such as Myton Hospice and Lee Rigby House. In 2024, James’s commitment to excellence was recognized when he won the prestigious Checkatrade Painter and Decorator of the Year award.

 In 2021, James partnered with Kevin Eccles, and together they brought the vision of expanding the business to life with the creation of Expressions Group in April 2022. James’s passion for growth and continuous improvement drives the company forward. He is always seeking new opportunities, securing fresh contracts, and keeping his team of painters busy. With a positive attitude and a focus on motivating his team, James inspires everyone to push beyond their limits, achieve more, and constantly strive for excellence.

Sammi Jude joined Expressions Group in February 2024 as Operations Administrator. With an extensive background in administration, Sammi quickly became an invaluable part of the team, making an immediate positive impact.

Her experience in welfare roles is especially beneficial when interacting with occupants of the properties, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of any concerns. Sammi’s sharp sense of humour and quick wit keep the team engaged while ensuring that all paperwork is submitted on time. This attention to detail allows the company to deliver job reports to clients promptly upon completion.

As the main point of contact between clients and operatives, Sammi plays a vital role in ensuring that projects run smoothly and any issues are addressed swiftly and efficiently.

Laura Walker joined Expressions Group in March 2024 as Office Administrator, bringing with her 22 years of experience from serving in the RAF. Her background made her a perfect fit for the team, and she quickly became an essential part of the operations.

Laura is responsible for managing all behind-the-scenes administration, including reconciling accounts and ensuring that all operatives are paid accurately and on time each week. She also handles the company onboarding process, making sure all operatives provide the necessary documentation, such as CSCS cards, insurance, and relevant certifications, before starting their work.

As a qualified Mental Health First Aider, Laura offers a supportive, caring presence within the team. She ensures that all operatives have a safe space to discuss any personal issues they may be facing, promoting a positive and healthy work environment.
